2012-2013 Kindergarten Registration

Central Elementary will hold our Kindergarten registration for the 2012-2013 school year on

Tuesday, January 24, 2012.

Central Elementary School will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Parents should enroll their child on this date. If you know of anyone with an eligible child for kindergarten, please pass this information on to them as well. Thank you in advance for your cooperation!

1. Current Missouri law requires a child to be five (5) years of age prior to August 1, 2012 to be enrolled in a public school kindergarten class. There is no provision in the law for early entry.

2. Immunization records, Birth Certificate, Social Security card and proof of residency should be presented at enrollment. Adequate immunization is required to attend kindergarten.

3. All children enrolled for kindergarten will be scheduled for screening, which will be conducted later in the spring. Parents can make an appointment at registration for this screening. Screenings will be held on April 27th and May 4th by appointment only.
